Thinger — Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 21, 2026 · ben@thinger.rocks

Thinger (“Thinger”, “we”, “us”) offers the Thinger mobile app and the website at thinger.rocks (together, the “Service”). This page sets out both our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Thinger is a mobile app that helps you discover 3D printable models aggregated from public third-party model repositories. Thinger does not host or sell the models themselves — clicking through to a source site is subject to that site’s own terms.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country (16 in most of the EEA and UK), whichever is higher, to use the Service.

3. Subscription — Thinger 3D Pro

Subscription title: Thinger 3D Pro
Length: 1 year, auto-renewing
Price: USD $6.99 per year (local currency equivalent may apply)

Thinger 3D Pro is offered through both the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to your use of the iOS app and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Use of the Android app is additionally subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

4. License and Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to: reverse engineer or decompile the app; use the Service to infringe intellectual property or violate the law; attempt to access other users’ accounts; scrape, spider, or overload our servers; or misuse the Service in any way that could disrupt or harm it.

5. Privacy Policy

5.1 Information we collect

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA and UK).

5.2 Third-party services

The Service uses the following third parties. Each has its own privacy policy, linked below.

5.3 How we use data

To operate and improve the app, authenticate you, deliver your saved lists, show relevant content, serve ads to non-premium users, measure performance, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

5.4 Legal basis (EEA and UK)

We process personal data on the bases of (a) contract performance — delivering the Service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — analytics, security, fraud prevention; (c) consent — advertising identifiers and similar, where required; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

5.5 Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and operational reasons. You can request deletion at any time (see section 5.7).

5.6 International transfers

We are based in Israel and our servers or third-party providers may operate in Israel, the United States, the European Union, or other countries. Where required, transfers from the EEA or UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or on any applicable adequacy decision.

5.7 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email ben@thinger.rocks from the address on file.

5.8 California privacy notice (CCPA / CPRA)

In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, device ID), commercial information (subscription status), internet and other electronic activity (app events, screens viewed), approximate geolocation (inferred from IP), and inferences drawn from the above. Sources: you, your device, and our analytics and advertising partners.

We share device identifiers and limited event data with advertising partners (Google AdMob, Ad.Plus, Meta) for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sharing, limit the use of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising their rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us with the subject line California Privacy Request. On iOS, you can also opt out of ad tracking at any time using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and the Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking menu.

To opt out, use this link: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

5.9 Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please notify us promptly if you suspect a security issue.

6. User Content

You keep ownership of any feedback, list names, or other content you create in the app. You grant Thinger a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the rights to share.

7. Third-Party Content

Models shown in Thinger are served from third-party websites. Thinger doesn’t endorse or control that content and isn’t responsible for it. Your use of a linked third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THINGER’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THINGER IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS, OR (B) USD $50. THINGER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or abuse the Service. Sections that by their nature survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv, Israel.

12. Changes

We may update this page from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when these terms last changed.

13. Contact
